The
apartment block is situated behind the Andy's Pizza and Restaurant building
on Mircea cel Batrin boulevard. Best is to get off at the "Market"
stop (first stop on Mircea cel Batrin boulevard), walk ahead along the boulevard,
pass Andy's Pizza building (on your right) and turn right at the end of
it. FIDESCO supermarket will be on your left and our apartment block on
your right. Second entrance. Take the lift to the 8th floor where the hostel
is located.
FROM THE TRAIN STATION (train from Bucharest, Kiev, Moscow, Warsaw, Lviv etc): minibus 166 or 163 (about 25-30 minutes). The minibus is usually packed when it stops at the train station and it's not the best way of coming to us if you have a rucksack or a suitcase. Better take a taxi or use our pick up service. Taxi cost is about 5 Euro.
FROM THE CENTRAL BUS STATION/GARA CENTRALA (bus from Bucharest, Iasi, Kiev, Tiraspol, small town in Ukraine): best taking minibus #105. Its first stop is on Bulgara street corner with Mitropolit Varlaam street which is one street down and left from the Central bus station. It will be empty here and you may have a seat and room for your rucksack. Optionally take minibus 113 or bus number 5 towards Ciocana.
FROM THE NORTH BUS STATION / GARA DE NORD (bus from Bucharest, Suceava, Constanta, Galati, Brasov, Sibiu): minibus 191, 163 or 113 or trolleybus 13. Trolleybus takes usually longer, but may be less crowded and with more room for your rucksack.
FROM THE AIRPORT / AEROPORT CHISINAU : minibus #165 to Ismail street (the terminus) and change to minibus 191 or 113 to our hostel. The journey will take more than 1 hour and is not recommended for travelers with a big rucksack.
REFERENCE POINTS
This circle is the beginning of the main boulevard of Ciocana. Mircea cel Batrin boulevard is right in front on this photo. Our hostel is situated in the second apartment block on the right side of the boulevard. The bus stop is first after the circle. Also on the bus stop are : local Market, BOMBA electrical appliances supermarket, kiosks selling flowers, exchange kiosks. Further on the right side of Mircea cel Batrin boulevard are : Farmacia FELICIA (24 hours chemist), ENERGBANK, Andy's Pizza & Restaurant, FIDESCO supermarket.
